Both have merit. Yuna chose kibble because it's shelf-stable, easy to dose, and we can formulate it with nutritional precision no artisanal method matches. For your dog: an exact portion every day, no handling, no food-safety risk.
How do you calculate the exact portion?
We use the standard veterinary method: resting energy requirement (RER = 70 × weight^0.75) multiplied by a factor for neuter status, age and activity, converted to grams via the recipe's caloric density (~3,600 kcal/kg). Your dog's full profile tunes every parameter.
Is it really made in Québec?
Yes. The recipes are produced in Boucherville, Québec, by our manufacturing partner specialized in pet nutrition. Packing and the bag-naming labels are done by our team in Lanaudière.
